Eliza Johnson

Interior Designer

Eliza is an Oregon native through and through. Growing up in an artist family she has a natural ease around art and design. Her interest in architecture is deeply rooted in the relationship of humans and their environment. Passionate about sustainable design, she focuses on incorporating environmentally responsible design solutions and producing long-lasting buildings that respond to our inherent needs.

She is a graduate from the School of Architecture & Allied Arts at the University of Oregon with a professional Bachelor degree in Interior Architecture and minors in Architecture and Architectural Art History. While in architecture school she worked on a goat farm, a bread bakery, and a farmers market where her passion for local community grew.

With 3+ years of experience working in the field of interior architecture, Eliza has a background in both residential and commercial design including healthcare, hospitality, tenant infill, and retail. Skilled in hand sketching, concept visualization, and material selection, her knowledge spans from construction/permit drawings and project management to interior details and spatial planning. She's always up for a good challenge and is currently working toward her NCIDQ certification.

When not in the office Eliza can be found exploring the backcountry or elbows deep in soil in her garden. She developed a green-thumb while living in an off-the-grid cabin on a farm and became passionate about growing and preserving food. A wilderness rambler at heart, she loves to be outdoors  -  backpacking, paddling, running trails and checking out what's around the next corner.
