With projects all over the west coast states, a self-contained mobile office became a natural addition to our toolset. Using a 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4, we designed the interior of the van to be functional, beautiful and sustainable. True to our style, we put natural materials in the spot light, using marine-grade maple plywwod to create the bed platform, kitchenette, and multi-function storage. The van’s living systems are based around a large PV solar array on the roof and a diesel space heater. Sunlight, fresh water and diesel are the only inputs necessary to keep this van going independently.
