Bend, Oregon

This lamp was designed specifically for the entry vestibule at the new Bend Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The fixture was constructed in the offices of Stemach Design & Architecture by the staff and donated to the ReStore upon their opening in December of 2014.

The fixture was built using all reclaimed and donated materials. The wood is from a donated shipment of blue buggy pine received at the ReStore and fabricated into the top by Don Parker of Celadon Custom Cabinetry. The lighting is 20 energy efficient LED bulbs, 2 watts each with a rated lifespan of 35,000 hours, or 8 years if the lamp is on for 12 hours a day. The copper piping was also donated to the ReStore, most of which had been removed from existing structures.
