High Desert Middle School Gym Addition & Renovations

The project consists of a new auxiliary gymnasium building where the current basketball courts are located, with access from the common areas. The new building will be approximately 8,700 sqft and exhibit a variety of uses determined in the programming phase. Efficient circulation, stormwater drainage, and advantageous use of energy options will be included where applicable. In addition to the auxiliary gymnasium addition, the scope includes the replacement of the clerestory windows in the cafeteria, replacement of bleachers in the existing gymnasium, and replacement of all existing interior fixtures with LED. Design and permit documents were completed ahead of the proposed schedule for this project allowing for the entire project to track ahead of schedule.
