Bowman Museum Expansion

Currently in the planning and feasibility stages for an expansion, the Bowman Museum aims to utilize recently acquired property adjacent to the museum to integrate an historic train caboose into its exhibits. Through a feasibility study, Stemach Design + Architecture investigates and proposes space programming and layout options for existing structures alongside potential new construction with suggestions for new museum functions or amenities. This process considers the short term use of existing structures as well as the impact of adaptive reuse and/or complete removal and new construction.
